How does my small civilisation that lives mainly off the sea and forest survive? when many fresh water lakes (used to drink and fish from) are polluted with ash and lava rock. Or when the forest they hunt and gather fruit from is burned down.
C. Survival Plan:
we would use our knowlage of medomorphic,igneus and sedementry rocks to rebuild shelter.
Plan:
Step 1: Chose a place.
We chose to build our shelter on a mountian or a cave where their may be some animals to eat and filtered cave water. after our snack we begin to spread sedementry rock on the ground for a soft ground.
Step 2: Design/plan a shelter.
we decided to use medemorphic rock to break into the cave walls. after hours of carving into the wall we managed to carve a three foot indent in the wall.
Step 3: Build a shelter
next we continue to carve.a while later we have a small tunnel and carvings in the wall. we must be under the natral water filteration system because water constantly drips from the top and disappears in the cracks of the floor.
Step 4: Grow food.
We from the small eadible mushrooms that grow year round on old logs. we would also eat the live animals such as whipspiders,bats,fish,worms,snakes,lizards,rats and the occasional wandering pig.
Step 5: Clean water.
knowing it has been filtered for years between the rocks however if we are not shure we will filter the water between our shirtsto get out the big chunks of dirt and let it drip into a pot for boiling to kill germs and remove limestone.
Step 6: Clean air.
We would make sure our is clean by keeping the cave open at all times and remove all dead carcasses and rotting water so co2 does not fill our space and suffocate us,

we would wait for the next few days to make shure ther are no second erptions,earthquakes or still hot lava then we will search whats left of the village for live people or supplies.

some of the lava it cool enough to touch but for a short time a gum like substance we can use it to patch up holes in our shelter where it can harden. ...

We would recycle by reusing our boots for instance such as when i busted my left rubber flipflop we used it during a signal fire when a commarcial fishing ship was spotted.
